The short version
  1. Calories in versus calories out simplifies something that is genuinely more complex. Hormones and food quality both matter.

  2. You don't store fat because you eat fat. You store it because of insulin spikes and hormonal imbalance.

  3. Recomposition needs protein, carbs, recovery, progressive overload and sleep. Missing any one stalls the other four.

The idea of calories in versus calories out reduces weight to eating less than you burn. The way your body actually manages weight is far more complex — 100 calories from vegetables do not affect you the way 100 calories from sugar do.

Where people go wrong

The part nobody posts
Mistake 01

Eating less and moving more, harder

Under-eating slows metabolism. The stall is usually a signal to eat more, not less.

Mistake 02

Counting calories without counting quality

A hundred calories of vegetables and a hundred of sugar do different things to insulin.
